Our Story

PreDate was founded by Yury Kunichenko, whose experiences navigating the complexities of modern dating after a divorce revealed a crucial gap in how people prepare for love. After stepping back into the dating world in 2018, Yury discovered that finding meaningful connections required much more than just meeting new people. It demanded self-awareness, healing, and a willingness to confront deeply ingrained patterns and insecurities.

Through therapy with Carmy Aristor, Yury embarked on a journey of introspection and accountability. Together, they explored the emotional barriers that were holding him back and realized there were few accessible tools to help others on similar paths. This realization planted the seed for PreDate.

Yury then met his partner Prais’Jah. They fell in love and began to build a relationship based on the ethos of PreDate. Prais’Jah, joined the mission, bringing her own perspective and growth story to the team. Like many, she had experienced the fears and insecurities that make vulnerability difficult. Her commitment to self-discovery and accountability became a safe haven for PreDate. Together with Carmy, they’ve built a space where personal growth isn’t just encouraged—it’s celebrated.
